Daniel McNamee


Daniel was born in Montreal but grew up in Toronto where he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. Daniel also holds a second law degree from the University of Western Michigan, where he graduated magna cum laude. Daniel has been called to the Bars of both Ontario and British Columbia.

Daniel has experience working for the Crown and for insurers, and he looks forward to using that experience to assist individuals. Daniel articled with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s Legal Branch, primarily prosecuting commercial motor vehicle driving offences in Ontario. Upon moving Kamloops, Daniel worked primarily for insurers and defendants on a variety of civil litigation matters, ranging from typical motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall cases to insurance coverage cases and incidents involving allegations of unlawful arrest or excessive use of force. 

Daniel’s diverse skill set has made him a tremendous asset to Jensen Law. His practice is a blend of criminal and civil matters, a testament to his versatility.  Since joining Jensen Law, Daniel has become involved in complex Charter litigation cases, and has cross-examined expert witnesses, including an eminent forensic pathologist, in a Second Degree Murder trial.
