Robert Diab

Robert Diab is a professor in the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University. He joined Jensen Law as associate counsel in 2019 to assist with the firm’s appellate work and complex criminal litigation. 

Robert has an LLB and PhD in law from the University of British Columbia, and teaches criminal and advanced criminal law at TRU.

He has published two books on national security law, and over a dozen articles on criminal law, civil liberties, and human rights in venues that include the Oxford University Comparative Law Forum, the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, and the Canadian Criminal Law Review. Robert is also co-editor in chief of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law, and a member of the editorial board of the CBABC journal BarTalk.

Robert was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2002 and has experience as both Crown and defence, and at all levels of court in British Columbia.
